CPD officer shot, another wounded in exchange of gunfire
A CPD officer was shot and wounded during a shootout that left a man in serious condition after a car drove forward during a traffic stop, injuring a second officer, police said. The incident was captured on a POD camera, which was obtained by the 16th & 17th District Chicago Police Scanner.

26-year-old Chicago man charged in the stabbing death of 48-year-old
O'Reilly was reportedly arrested a day after the incident, after he was the driver of a vehicle involved in a traffic crash in the 3900 block of S. Prairie Avenue in the Bronzeville neighborhood. He was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

Shootout at Rosemont Fashion Outlets kills 1, wounds teen
The gunman, in his mid-20s, opened fire just after 7 p.m. Friday near the food court at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago mall in Rosemont. The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the man who died as Joel Valdes, 20, of Skokie.
