Man charged for stabbing CTA employee at downtown stop
He was identified as the offender who, around 5:45 p.m. Sunday evening, stabbed a 44-year-old CTA employee on the train platform in the 300 block of S. Dearborn.

CTA Employee stabbed, CPD officer injured, during altercation on Blue Line at Jackson
The CTA employee stepped off the the train to intervene in some sort of "ongoing altercation" and the CTA employee was stabbed by a 39-year-old male multiple times with a knife. A responding officer was also hit with a blunt object.

Attempted Robbery of an Armored Truck, Two Security Guards Shot
2-4 armed men wearing all black and masks tried to rob an armored truck this morning in the West Chatham neighborhood and shot two security guards, both are in critical condition. The FBI is now investigating.
