Willie Nelson and the Turnpike Troubadours are opening night co-headliners. Tim McGraw, Sam Hunt, and Miranda Lambert headline the rest.

Windy City Smokeout first summer fest to announce lineup
The Windy City Smokeout returns August 4-7, 2022.

CHICAGO - The fast-growing BBQ, beer, and country music summer festival called Windy City Smokeout is the first to release its lineup and this year's headliners took a step up.



This year's festival will be held August 4 - 7, 2022, in its usual location in the United Center parking lot on the city's west side.

The opening night headliner is none other than Willie Nelson & Family. But Willie Nelson & Family are co-headlining with the highly-anticipated reunion of the Turnpike Troubadours.

Friday, August 5, will be capped off by Tim McGraw. McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill, can currently be seen on Paramount network's Yellowstone spinoff, 1883.

Saturday, August 6, will feature Sam Hunt. Miranda Lambert will close out the festival on Sunday, August 7.

  • Thursday, August 4 (gates at 1pm): Morgan Wade, Zach Bryan, Turnpike Troubadours, Willie Nelson and Family
  • Friday, August 5 (gates at 2pm): Shelby Darrall, Tiera Kennedy, Niko Moon, Russell Dickerson, Tim McGraw
  • Saturday, August 6 (gates at 1pm): Lily Rose, Mackenzie Porter, Jordan Davis, Sam Hunt
  • Sunday, August 7 (gates at 1pm): Mike & the Moonpies, Flatland Cavalry, Mitchell Tenpenny, Miranda Lambert
