Man stabbed to death during argument in West Garfield Park

Police said a male victim of unknown age was involved in an argument in an alley with an unknown offender when the offender pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.

Man stabbed to death during argument in West Garfield Park

CHICAGO - Authorities are reporting a man was stabbed to death this afternoon on the city's west side.



The incident reportedly occurred around 4:38 p.m. in the 4000 block of W. Monroe Street in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the city's west side.

Police said a male victim of unknown age was in involved in an argument in an alley on the above block with an unknown offender.

The offender pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.

The victim was transported to West Suburban Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No one is in custody. Area Four Detectives are investigating.
