The incident happened at approximately 8:41 p.m. last night in the 8800 block of S. Princeton Avenue in the West Chatham neighborhood on the city's south side.

Police say a black SUV driving down the block opened fire first on a 42-year-old female sitting in a parked vehicle on the street. The woman suffered gun shot wounds to her left and right legs. She was transported to the University of Chicago Hospital in serious condition.

A 42 year-old female was sitting in a parked vehicle when an occupant in a black SUV fired shots, striking her in the left and right leg and was transported to U of C in serious condition. A 20 year-old male was standing in the doorway of a residence when he was shot by the offender. He self-transported to Little Company of Mary Medical Center where he was listed in good condition with a gun shot wound to the face area.

Finally, a 50 year-old male was walking on the sidewalk when he, too, was shot in the right arm by the offender in the black SUV. The 50-year-old man was also transported to the University of Chicago Hospital by the Chicago Fire Department where he was listed in good condition.

There is no one in custody and Area Two detectives are investigating.
