A burned body found 42 years ago near I-80 in northwestern Pennsylvania has been identified as an 18-year-old Chicago man who went missing in the fall of 1980.

South Shore man charged with mass shooting at Near North Side McDonald's
Police said 23-year-old Jaylun Sanders was apprehended minutes after they say he opened fire into a crowd of people outside the McDonald's restaurant at the intersection of E. Chicago Avenue and N. State Street on the city's Near North Side.

Armed robbery of 55-year-old victim on Red Line leaves one offender critical, wounded with his own knife
There was a struggle, and one of the offenders was reportedly wounded with his own knife. The offender with the gun fled the scene, leaving his wounded accomplice. The victim was not injured.

Body found in Lake Michigan IDed as missing college student
Natally Brookson was reported missing April 30 and was last seen leaving work, officials said. Her boyfriend, 26-year-old Daniel Sotelo, was also reported missing the same day.
