No charges against 2 Chicago officers in fatal shootings
Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx said there was insufficient evidence to charge the officers in the deaths, which were captured on video that showed both suspects appeared to have handguns prior to the shootings.

Suburban Chicago police fatally shoot man who stabbed cop
Three Crest Hill officers responded to the scene and, when they confronted the man he stabbed one of them in the femoral artery. An officer then shot the man several times and he died on the scene.

17-year-old girl in critical condition, shot in South Loop by two men
