Person in custody after 3 found dead in suburban Chicago

ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. (AP) — An arrest has been made after three people were found dead inside a home in north suburban Chicago.

Officers in Round Lake Beach were asked to perform a well-being check at the home when they found the bodies about 1:40 p.m. Monday, police said.

Authorities said the person arrested is being called a person of interest in the case and was taken into custody following a police chase that ended on Interstate 80 in Joliet.
