ST. CHARLES, Ill. - Director David Fincher, whose films have received 40 nominations at the Academy Awards, including three for him as Best Director, is bringing the filming of his next production to suburban St. Charles' historic Hotel Baker along the Fox River.

The movie is slated to be Netflix’s upcoming noir thriller The Killer, starring Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton as the two big names so far announced.[1] Reportedly in development for over a decade, production finally kicked off in early November 2021.

Filming in St. Charles is expected to take place over a period of 10 days in March.

Fincher is best known for films such as Fight Club, Gone Girl, The Social Network, The Game, Zodiac, Se7en, Mank, and many more. With The Killer, Fincher reunites with Se7en writer Andrew Kevin Walker. Andrew Kevin Walker also wrote the Oscar-winning The Wolfman and the 1999 film Sleepy Hollow that starred Johnny Depp.
