Chicago Police announced aggravated vehicular hijacking charges this morning against three boys, age 12, 13, and 14 years old. The trio faces a total of 7 felony counts and 1 misdemeanor.

Man and woman found shot dead after Police safety check
Officers went to the home due to a report of a woman possibly being held against her will. Police knocked on the door and reportedly saw a male come to the window then quickly close the curtains. After some words were exchanged, the Officers heard five gunshots.

Man shot in violent carjacking by group in the South Loop
A 30-year-old man was waiting for someone when he was approached by five unidentified male offenders all armed with handguns. One of the five offenders shot him and dragged him from his car.

Infant girl grazed by gunfire in Belmont Cragin
Police said the girl was sitting in the back seat of a car when an unknown offender in a white SUV fired shots. Police did not indicate if the 1-year-old was linked to a target of the shooter or not.

Japanese OF Suzuki finalizes 5-year deal with new-look Cubs
The 27-year-old Suzuki was a five-time All-Star and Gold Glove winner in nine seasons with the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. He batted .317 with 38 homers and 88 RBIs in 132 games last season and had nearly as many walks (87) as strikeouts (88).
