CHICAGO - Police reported that a 91-year-old man working as a cab driver was carjacked and shot in the early Saturday morning hours on the border of the Pullman and Roseland neighborhoods.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., a 91 year-old male working as a cab driver was sitting in a blue Hyundai in the 10700 block of S. Langley. A man approached on foot and forced the 91-year-old victim out of his vehicle at gunpoint.

The victim complied with the gunman, police said, at which time the offender fired shots, striking the victim in the right hand and the right leg.
