School suit leaves questions

Our story about a sexual abuse case at Ogden International School leaves a lot of questions about New Eastside’s neighborhood school.
Most notably, what really happened, and why is the teacher accused of abuse still working at the school?
At the very least, special education teacher Brian Pfaff — who had been accused of similar incidents in the past — should be on probation. We can’t quite see why his colleagues have protected him, and apparently ostracized anyone who would criticize him.
The case is ongoing, but CPS needs to come up with some answers. Our children are at stake here, and silence isn’t going to cut it.
