The South Loop’s new farmers market at the Wheeler Mansion is a big deal. By all accounts, it sounds like it will be a fun event with great vendors.
But the market’s management is taking a big risk with this, especially by hosting it in what’s essentially a back yard.
Markets thrive off traffic, and for this one to be successful, it will need lots of it. That comes from word of mouth.
So if you live in the area and like fresh produce and other things of the like, head down there on Wednesdays this summer, and tell your friends, too. They’ll need your help.
