Paige
Paige is a tall and graceful German Shepherd mix hoping to find a loving new home. This beautiful 8-year-old came to PAWS Chicago when her previous owner could no longer care for her. She gets along nicely with other dogs. Sweet and affectionate, she is a huge fan of people too, including children. To encourage affection from her humans, Paige will rest against your leg waiting for a scratch behind the ears. She is also eager to shower you with doggie kisses if you let her! Because Paige suffers from separation anxiety, she would thrive in a home where her family is home a lot of the time. Paige is already spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped.
Carrot
Carrot is a clever and brave 1-year-old kitty. This gorgeous brown tabby/torti mix was found surviving on the streets with her two tiny kittens. Luckily, after being taken to Animal Care & Control, Carrot and her babies were transferred to PAWS Chicago to find loving families. Her kittens have already been adopted, and now it’s Carrot’s turn to find the home of her dreams! Carrot’s curiosity, love of learning, and sense of wonder are written all over her face. At just over a year old, she still has most of her kitten energy and will play with anything and everything she can find. Her favorites are wand toys and, of course, her beloved toy carrot, which she chews and wrestles. After a nice play session, Carrot likes to curl up in a nice warm lap to rest.
