Costco hopes to open this summer

The Near West Side’s Costco, at 14th Street and Ashland Avenue, is setting its sights on an early summer opening date.
A spokesman for the company said the store is hoping to open “before July 4” but didn’t have a more specific date available this far out.
The outpost would be Costco’s second in Chicago. Their other urban store sits at Clybourn and Damen avenues in Lincoln Park.
