Everyone in the South Loop seems to know Paulette Boyd (and her husband Sly). And now the greater Chicagoland area will begin to notice her, too. Paulette, a long-time resident of the Transportation Building, past president of South Loop Neighbors and an all-round erstwhile South Looper in every way, just hit a milestone: she raised a million dollars in the last 18 months (in this economy yet!) with her fundraising efforts on behalf of non-profits--through her business which she calls "Inspire."

Some of the clients she's championed to flusher funds include A Place for Me, Counseling Center of Lakeview, Literacy Chicago, National Veterans Art Museum, Task Force Prevention and Academic Advantage.

Congratulations, Paulette. You do inspire! And keep up the good work.
