We are grateful to Bonnie McGrath for her coverage of our Misericordia fundraising event in the April 7 issue. Our family, along with the Burke and Cornell families from the South Loop, hosted the event, and could not have raised the over $1,200 we collected without the generosity and hospitality of Wabash Tap at 1233 South Wabash.
The manager, German Osorio, along with his staff, Mary and Melissa, not only gave us the tips, but produced window signs, provided a raffle prize, and set up our event. This is the kind of place where everybody knows your name, and is warm, embracing and friendly. Stop by.
