Men shot in courtyard

A couple of men were standing in a courtyard on the 1300 block of W. 13th August 22 at 4:35 a.m. when they heard about 20 gun shots. The men ran to a nearby car, but were struck by some of the rounds. One man was shot in the foot, while the other was shot in the leg.

A man was exiting his workplace on the 200 block of W. Randolph August 15 at 7:25 a.m. when a man approached him from behind, displayed a large black metal pistol and demanded the contents of the victim’s shoulder bag.

A man was ejected from a restaurant located on the 100 block of S. State August 1 at 2:30 a.m. While the man was outside, he threw a bottle at a restaurant employee, hitting her front upper teeth.

Police arrived to the 1800 block of S. Desplaines July 10 at 4:50 a.m. and found a man sitting in a parked car holding his neck. A woman sitting in the car told police she and her husband were in the car talking when they heard loud noises, which she believed to be firecrackers.

The man in black strikes

A man parked his 1993 Infiniti in the 1600 block of W. Ogden June 26 at 4:55 p.m. When he returned a few hours later, he saw a man dressed in black breaking the passenger side window of his car and removing his silver iPod.
