Two unknown offenders with a gun robbed a man at Heritage Park, 123 S. Desplaines St., in the early morning hours of Oct. 2. The victim was talking on his phone when the two offenders approached. "Give me your money," one of them said.

Trash can body was Little Italy man
Michael Raso, 53, lived just blocks from where he was found dead

The man whose body was found in a trash can in a Little Italy alley last week was a local man with deep ties to the neighborhood - and a long criminal history. It was 53-year-old Michael Raso, whose body was found behind the 1400 block of West Flournoy Street by a scavenger on Aug. 22, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. Read More...
