Meet Borys, an adorable Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix! At 5-years-old, Borys was given up to PAWS Chicago after his guardians had a baby and couldn’t keep him any longer. He is very affectionate and loyal. Borys is happiest when sitting in laps, although he craves exercise and enjoys frequent walks and playtime. Man threatens cops with knife

A 38-year-old Chicago man was arrested for assault at a Blue Line station at 130 W. Congress Parkway on Thursday, March 22, after police said he pulled a knife on them. Police were called to the station at 10:10 p.m. to investigate a report of a gang disturbance when a CTA employee pointed to a man who was allegedly part of the disturbance. Police said when they went to question the man, he allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened them before an officer knocked the knife out of his hand with a baton.

Sasha is a pretty, 1-year-old Shepherd-Rottweiler mix. She is very social and likes making new friends, both human and canine. Sasha is curious about the world around her and thinks everything is new and interesting. She learns quickly and is easily house and crate-trained. Sasha already knows “sit” and “stay” and will do anything for a treat which keeps training fun and exciting for her! Spunky Sasha would love to find an active home where she can have fun, play and be loved.
