A park for Printers Row

Hundreds of residents of Printers Row and the broader South Loop
witnessed the groundbreaking of the new Printers Row Park on Saturday.
The park is located a block north of Polk, between Federal and
Dearborn, and features a benches graced with backwards letters, a nod
to printing shops that onced lined the area. In addition to checking
out the new open space, many longtime residents recalled they
successful prevented a developer from building a high-rise on the site.
