Greener South Loop awards announced

The Alliance for a Greener South Loop announced the winners of its third annual awards for the greenest buildings last week. The awards “recognize and celebrate efforts that will help us all minimize our community’s environmental impact.”
East West University and Roosevelt University won the “green” and “greener” awards for institutions, respectively.
Overflow Coffee, the Forth Group and ORA Dental Studio were green, greener and greenest amongst businesses.
Film Exchange, 1620 S. Michigan Ave. and the State Place Condominium Association were green, greener and greenest amongst residential buildings.
