The Chicago Marathon is this weekend, and as usual that means streets will be blocked off throughout the city. Here’s when and where in CJ turf you should avoid driving (or go to watch!) the city’s long-distance runners.
7-8:30 a.m.
- Columbus Drive from Roosevelt to Grand Avenue
- State Street from Hubbard Street to Jackson Boulevard
- Jackson Blvd from State Street to LaSalle Street
7-9 a.m.
- LaSalle Street from Jackson Boulevard to Stockton Drive
7-11:30 a.m.
- Franklin Street from Wacker Drive to Adams Street
7 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Adams Street from Franklin Street to Damen Avenue
- Damen Avenue from Adams Street to Van Buren Street
- Van Buren Street from Damen Avenue to Ogden Avenue
- Ogden Avenue from Van Buren Street to Jackson Street
7 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Jackson Street from Ogden Avenue to Halsted Street
- Halsted Street from Jackson Blvd. to Taylor Street
