Lilly is an energetic 3-year-old Labrador/Pit mix who would love to be your new best friend! This affectionate girl came to PAWS Chicago through Animal Care & Control in early July after she was found as a stray. Lilly needed to gain some weight and had a dry coat, most likely as a result of poor nutrition from her days on the street. Since arriving at PAWS Chicago, Lilly has put on a couple of pounds and is much happier. Lilly is friendly with people of all ages and gets along with other dogs too. She and her doggie roommate love to wrestle and then nap together in their suite at the PAWS Chicago Adoption Center. If you are looking for an athletic, social, and super sweet girl, Lilly may be your perfect match!
Abaline is an adorable, fun-loving brown tabby. This pretty kitty loves attention so much, the moment you go to pet another feline, “Abey” will literally tap you on the shoulder, asking “what about me?” Abaline loves playtime and her favorite Olympic sport is definitely the high jump. This tiny girl can leap to heights of 4 feet! She is curious and very intelligent. Known to go after candy bowls, this spunky cat doesn’t need any more sugar – she already has enough energy to play for hours on end. At just a year old, she is basically still a kitten, and enjoys playing with feather wands, small mice toys, and anything filled with catnip. Abey is a one of a kind girl who deserves to be spoiled with attention and playtime, possibly by a family with children who can keep up with her energy level. Abaline is looking for a family or companion with character to match her own.
