Noted, therefore, are the following fairly recent openings and closings on the local food-and-drink scene:

Opened: Jimmy Greens, 825 S. State; Flo & Santos, 1310 S. Wabash; Acapella Bistro, 1301 S. Michigan; Aldino’s, 626 S. Racine.

Closed: Marché, 833 W. Randolph (see related story) and the Fulton Lounge, 955 W. Fulton (which is promising this on their Web site: “In its place, an even more exciting establishment, the likes of which you have never seen, will incorporate the spaces of Fulton Lounge and the former restaurant next door.”).
