'Rosie' cuts staff

Oprah’s replacement in the West Loop, Rosie O’Donnell, is cutting staff at her show significantly just four months after the program’s debut.
According to Crain’s Chicago Business, “The Rosie Show” let go “as many as 30 employees and contract workers” in January as the show was shifted to a smaller, more intimate studio.
The show’s new set needed fewer employees, a spokesman for Harpo Studios told Crain’s.
O’Donnell’s show, like many on the Oprah Winfrey Network, has foundered in the early days of the channel.
