George Ryan, the former Illinois governor currently serving time in federal prison on corruption charges, could be calling the West Loop home soon.
According to multiple reports, Ryan could be eligible for work release in January 2013, which would mean that he’d work during the day and bunk in a halfway house at night.
The most likely location, according to the reports, would be at a Salvation Army halfway house in the 100 block of South Ashland Avenue.
