PUMPKIN
Meet Pumpkin, a loveable 9-month-old Bloodhound! Can you believe he only weighed 4 pounds when he first came to PAWS Chicago? Last October, a litter of 3-week-old Bloodhound puppies were transferred to PAWS Chicago from a rescue group in Oklahoma. Pumpkin spent some time in a foster home as he matured, and was adopted around the holidays. Unfortunately, his adopters decided to move cross-country and couldn’t take Pumpkin with them. These days, Pumpkin is a hearty 70 pound pooch! Typical to his breed, he has a sturdy frame that is built for tracking and endurance. Pumpkin loves spending time outside, exploring the world with his keen sense of smell. Because he is so scent-driven, Pumpkin would do best with a strong handler. Pumpkin is accustomed to being in a home, so he is already crate and house-trained. He has also completed a basic obedience course! Pumpkin is looking for energetic adopters who can give him lots of exercise and the structure that a puppy needs. This even-tempered and affectionate boy will bring so much joy and laughter to his new home! Will you give him a chance?
DORSEY
Dorsey is a pretty 2-year-old brown tabby. With her striped brown fur and green-blue eyes, she’s quite the head-turner! What will really win you over is her outgoing personality. Dorsey adores just about everyone she meets, and is quite social and friendly with visitors. Curious and playful, her favorite toy is a feather wand which she will chase and bat at until she drops! Dorsey was already declawed before arriving at PAWS Chicago, and gets along well with the other clawed kitties in her suite. Give this sweetheart a chance, and she is bound to put a smile on your face every day!
