Hilly is a friendly, 9-month-old Pit mix who can’t wait to find her forever home! This sweet pup was abandoned by a previous guardian who no longer wanted her. At about 41 pounds, Hilly is mostly grown but may fill out over the next few months. She has gorgeous brown eyes and a beautiful brindle coat. Hilly is strong, stocky and quite athletic – she would make an excellent workout buddy! This loveable girl has never met a person or dog that she didn’t like, and will bring so much warmth and joy to her adoptive home.

Meet Margo! This 7-year-old fluff ball came to PAWS Chicago when allergies causes her previous guardians to give her up. Described by some volunteers as looking like “a cross between a Cheshire Cat and a feather duster,” Margo’s sweetness is written all over her face. She starts purring the moment you walk in the room and almost never stops. She adores sitting in laps and will show affection by staring lovingly at you and cooing like a dove. Margo likes to play with feather wands although her favorite toy is a rolled-up ball of paper, which she will swat all around the room. Margo will need regular brushing to keep her gorgeous fur in top condition. Margo can be timid around loud noises and lots of activity, so she would prefer a quiet household where she is the only pet. Once her sparkling personality shines through, we promise that she’ll be all the entertainment you need!
