More than 20,000 cyclists took to Lake Shore Drive for on Sunday, May 27 for Bike the Drive, the annual event that shuts down the city’s premiere lakefront roadway for a morning. The event benefits the Active Transportation Alliance, a nonprofit that advocates for bicycling, walking and public transportation in the Chicago area.
