Have you ever wondered what all this “Facebook” is about? Are “tweets” what you put in Easter baskets? Is your business missing a certain buzz factor?
Have no fear, 2nd Ward business owners — Ald. Bob Fioretti is hosting free social media classes to help you get on your feet and get your message out.
Erstwhile Chicago Journal blogger Blagica Bottigliero, who runs social media for Motorola, will host the clinics at Prairie Avenue Gallery, 1900 S. Prairie Ave.
An April 14 seminar will help businesses through the step-by-step process of setting up a Facebook page to attract customers, and how to get in touch with the right demographics.
On April 28, Bottigliero will teach businesses how to use Twitter’s terse format to reach out to customers, and seek out conversations that might be happening about your business without your knowledge.
They’re open to anyone in the 2nd Ward who’s interested. Each seminar will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
