Chicago Public Schools to discuss West Loop magnet school

Chicago Public Schools officials will be on hand next Tuesday at a community meeting to discuss a new magnet school in the West Loop.
The new school would be in the empty Thomas Jefferson School building at 1522 W. Fillmore Street in Chicago, and would focus on science, math and technology, as well as language courses.
School representatives will hear comments on the proposal next Tuesday, Jan. 11 at the UIC Student Center East’s Illinois Room, 750 S. Halsted Street,
Residents will be able to sign up to speak at the meeting and have their opinions heard.

Important. The location of this meeting has been changed to St. Ignatius College Prep. located at 1076 W. Roosevelt Rd.
