It was easy to love their spirit, their energy and their point of view during the strike. And all's well that ends well. But just wanted to share with readers that my unwavering support didn't end with a nice bunch of roses. The teachers (and principal yet!) at South Loop School have acknowledged that I had their back. And I do appreciate their lovely thank-you card.
All in solidarity, you guys. I know the kids at South Loop (and around the city) are in good hands with you in the front of the classrooms!
