It’s been more than a decade
since South Loop Neighbors (formerly Historic Printers Row Neighbors) started
putting on a fabulous neighborhood photo contest and photo show. Thanks to Roy Svenson at the Chicago Community
Bank in the Dearborn Station--a historic landmark--wonderful wall space is
provided for neighborhood photographers (and some not from the neighborhood) to
compete for cash prizes and the chance to showcase their work.
Tomorrow night the winners will be announced at a scintillating champagne reception, complete with Brazilian Jazz. It’s at 6:30 at the Dearborn Station, 47 W. Polk St. And all South Loopers--and their friends and families--are invited to join in.
Consider this blog post your formal invitation. I’m on the board of the organization and I would love to have everyone I know come out to see the 20 South Loop images of the photographer finalists that comprise the show--and also have some fun. Come one. Come all.

When you are traveling don't forget to take photos as remembrance. You might have a lot of memories in here also. - YOR Health
