Harrison stop distinguished by dirt and puddles
that's what Red Eye says
08/16/2011 11:04 AM
Although it's not exactly clear what research methods were used, Red Eye says that our very own South Loop subway station at Harrison won some sort of contest/poll/survey that concludes it has the worst (or should I say best?) dirt and puddles. Luckily, the station didn't win for best urine smell, most lack of accessibility, too many oft-broken escalators, heavy soot on the walls or worst "crust."
But hey, look at the bright side. The Harrison stop does have one unique characteristic: It has an additional entry/exit in and out of the same station at Polk--thereby keeping those who live or work south of Harrison dryer, warmer, cooler when need be, and out of the elements. And if one has a penchant for dirt and puddles, it gives those people extra face time with some such. What more can we riders ask?
