Two teenage boys have been arrested for the shooting of a 21-year-old man at the Roosevelt Green and Orange Line el station Monday night.

A press release from Chicago police said a 16-year-old boy shot the man after two groups got into an argument on the el platform around 6:55 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 26.

The man suffered a single gunshot wound to the torso and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, but was later released.

The 16-year-old was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, and a 14-year-old boy was also charged with a felony count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to the police’s release.

Police recovered a handgun at the scene, the release said, and located the shooter, who was identified by the victim.

The victim also had a criminal record, police said, and police said he is involved in a gang.

You should search "Guardian Angels arrest on the Roosevelt CTA Red line" You will see that we helped police apprehend two suspects in connection with a robbery and attack of a passenger on the Harrison Red line. We caught the guys on Roosevelt. Sorry you missed us, but as you can clearly see, we caught the guys exactly where we said we were going to be. To the Green Line the next day out of Roosevelt stop, saw tons of cops, yet no Guardian Angels. A few thoughts. The Guardian Angels announced they were going to be at the station from noon to midnight everyday, well that were not there. CPD right to work with reactive policing. Also, every year it is the same, as it gets colder and less tourist, we see less cops on the streets.
