The Chicago Transit Authority is holding the first of three public
meetings about the agency's proposed Circle Line tomorrow evening in the University of Illinois-Chicago's Molecular Biology Research Building, 900 S. Ashland. A presentation is scheduled to start at 6:15 p.m.
The meeting seeks input on the preferred route for the agency's proposed Circle Line, which would fit, roughly, into an area bound by 39th Street, Fullerton Parkway, Western Avenue and Lake Michigan.
Past presentations from the first two phases of the Circle Line study are available for download from the CTA's Web site.
On Wednesday, Sept. 30, CTA planners will hold a Circle Line meeting at the Bucktown-Wicker Park Library, 1701 N. Milwaukee. On Oct. 1, the possible route are scheduled to get shopped around at Benito Juarez Community Academy, 2150 S. Laflin.
Both meetings are scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with presentations beginning at 6:15 p.m.
