City Winery, the restaurant, concert venue and fully operational winery setting up shop in Chicago, is planning to open August 1 in the West Loop, and it’s announced many of its debut entertainers.

It’ll kick off its performances with three nights from comedian Lewis Black from Aug. 15 through 17. Also playing in City Winery’s first month will be Howie Day on Aug. 23, Fleetwood Mac alum Lindsey Buckingham on Aug. 26 and 27, and the Waco Brothers on Aug. 28.

In addition to offering live entertainment, City Winery will make its own wine in-house with grapes imported from around the world, and its restaurant will offer Mediterranean-styled small plates. It'll be located at 1200 W. Randolph St.
