Chicago Journal's Bonnie McGrath has a post up on her South Loop Observer blog about this year's Printers Row Lit Fest - the bibliophile's dream formerly known as the Printers Row Book Fair. The verdict: it was charming.
Here's a quote from the post from Bonnie's compatriot at the fest, Marilyn:

"The atmosphere this time is just the way it was before the Tribune took over,” she said, pointing out that the fair was so relaxed, so simple, so non-corporate and down to earth and not so sterile (especially the port-a-potties) this year.

Here was my preview of the event, published in last week's print edition of Chicago Journal.
Did any readers go to this year's fair, and score any great books? Rare first editions? Perhaps a stack of comic books you read as a kid? Hear in great writers read?
Post what you found at the event in the comments section below.
