Kass hosting contest to name menu item at Felony Franks

Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass is doing what he does best: Stirring up mischief amongst the city’s politicos. This time, he’s bringing it to the Near West Side.
In his column Wednesday about state Rep. Derrick Smith, Kass fails in his efforts to take Smith out to lunch at Western Avenue’s Felony Franks.
However, he’s cut an agreement with Felony Franks owner Jim Andrews to let his readers submit ideas for a sandwich that would fit the state’s corrupt politicians, to stand alongside the existing “misdemeanor wiener” and “paroled pizza puffs.”
