Summit season is heating up in Chicago, and though most of the attention so far has focused on May's NATO summit, a group of world leaders is coming to the University of Illinois at Chicago's campus in just a few days for more peaceful reasons.

The World Peace Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates will be held next Monday through Wednesday, April 23 through 25. Monday and Tuesday's activities will mostly happen at UIC's campus, while Wednesday's will center around Chicago Symphony Orchestra Hall at 220 S. Michigan Ave.

The UIC events will happen mostly at the Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Road. Earlier this month, officials said they don't expect the summit to have a large security perimeter or a major impact on traffic through University Village and the Near West Side.

This article has been updated to reflect the correct month of the Nobel summit. It is April, not May.
