No parking on most of S. Michigan Avenue

It's Day 2 of the home office. Our downtown office is closed and we were told to either work from home or head up to our suburban office in Libertyville. Given some of the commuting challenges this week will impose, I decided to stay home. Here I sit on what we call the Western Balcony, write over Michigan Avenue. I'll also be working from home on Monday, giving our NATO visitors time to leave the city in easy fashion.

My hubby already made the large trips to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Costco. Our house is set with supplies. I'm not too keen on wondering what we'll be doing to give our little one some play time, but that's what playing it by ear is for.

Aside from my observations, I'll be attending a gala honoring the President of Macedonia tomorrow night. How I will weave up Michigan Avenue in a cocktail dress and heels is beside me. I'll be sending pics from the event.

Traffic below me is slow and the parking boxes are wrapped with the typical 'do not park' signs. Ironically enough, I noticed a Protest NATO sticker a few yards away from one of the parking boxes last night.
