Bash on Wabash, the annual street festival in the South Loop, is coming back on Aug. 25 and 26 of this year.

The fest will take over Wabash Avenue between 13th and 14th streets, and will once again prominently feature roasted sweet corn. It’ll also have food trucks, psychics and tarot card readers, and a family fun area with carnival games and magicians.

A “grown-up kids” area will have a free mechanical bull and sumo wrestling suits. There’ll be a fun run on Sunday the 26th, as well.

Music will be booked once again by Reggie’s Rock Club, and the fest’s highlight is Jessica Lea Mayfield playing at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25. JD McPherson headlines Sunday night.

The festival has a $5 suggested donation for admission.
