A while back I wrote about the new restaurant coming to South Michigan Avenue in the Essex Hotel called Tribute, which would be having an uber-neato chef named Brandon Baltzley. In another post, I shared a pretty cool video that illustrated Baltzley's quirky creativity.
Fast Forward.... It seems that Baltzley is out and a new chef, Lawrence Letrero, will be at the helm when the restaurant opens in the near future.
And here's the reason straight from a Baltzley tweet today:
BrandonBaltzley Brandon Baltzley
Thanks to the city of Chicago and some really good friends I will be going into treatment sometime btwn tomorrow and two weeks.
Baltzley also tweeted about problems with the inside of his nose, among other things, indicating that he has a serious drug addiction. Hope all will be well for him.
