Five Guys is coming to the 'hood

I've been hearing that Five Guys--the renowned burger/fries emporium was coming to the South Loop at 1146 S. Wabash, a half block from my house, for well over a year now. Finally, Chicago Journal confirmed it recently. But I still wanted to see evidence with my very own eyes. Yesterday, I saw it. There, on the new small, yet solid and very classical building that just went up on Wabash a few doors north of the corner went eight red letters: F-I-V-E G-U-Y-S. I'm officially convinced.
The neighborhood business that may really thrive what with the coming of the Five Guys burgers and fries? The FFC South Loop health club directly in back of and across the alley from the soon to be finished restaurant. Catch my drift?

Ooooh Hamburger Hamlet and Acorn On Oak! Pickle Barrel and the best of all Chance\'s R. Those were burgers. Went to Five Guys once. Five will never happen for me. Awful!

don't get overexcited about this really rather bland burger joint...what was the name of that little piano bar on Oak that served that most fabulous burgers? or the Hamburger Hamlet? Now, there wuz burgers!
